The former railway station at Yarra Junction is the home of the Upper Yarra Museum, which has been managed and run by the Upper Yarra Valley Historical Society since 1972.The station is in the heart of Yarra Junction, a busy regional centre. Next to the station are major recreational facilities, and the Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail runs past it. The Crank up / Wood Chop at the Upper Yarra Museum.
