Turning up for the first time at a martial arts class can be a bit nerve wracking! But dont worry,  at Healesville WadoKan KarateDo Club we were all beginners and Wadokan is a welcoming and family friendly traditional dojo. Your level of fitness is not important, if you’re between the ages of 5 and 150 you can do Karate!

Costs

Karate is one of the most reasonable sports you can do. A good quality Gi will cost around $70, annual membership at Wadokan is $50 for juniors and $60 for seniors. Classes are $10 per student or $25 per family.

Classes

Our classes run at Healesville from 6.00 – 7.00pm for juniors, 6.00 – 7.30pm for seniors and at Yarra Glen from 6.30 to 8.00pm for both juniors and seniors.

Locations

We run two conveniently located dojos, one at the upper basketball courts behind the Jack Hort pool in Healesville and one in the Memorial Hall in the main street of Yarra Glen.
