The Healesville Bowling Club which commenced in 1891, is nestled among the beautiful hills of the Yarra Valley.

The surroundings of the bowling club are very picturesque and still contain the original croquet and bowling clubhouses.

Over the years the club has had many successes in the Yarra Valley BA, the men’s competition, and the Mountain Valley BA, the ladies’ competition, both in pennant and individual events. Four years ago the clubs of the Yarra Valley entered the Metropolitan Pennant Competition and have enjoyed the interaction with many new clubs and bowlers.

We currently are installing a new synthetic green with grants from the State Government and the Yarra Ranges Council. We have a beautiful grass green as well and expect to become more competitive having both surfaces.

We have approximately 100 members and run a Corporate Challenge each year to encourage the businesses in town to play our great game. We also open our facilities for all types of functions during the season from September to June. We welcome visitors to come and play at our great club in our regular events and special events which can be found on this website
